Akito

I think that deep down, Akito really is a good person. She fears abandonment though, mainly because of the abuse she suffered from her mother after her fathers death. Because of her lack of parental figures, I fell that she grew up with a seriously twisted view of the world. Whenever somebody loves a person (ex. Hatori loving Kana) she, Akito, feels that the love that person is giving is subtracting from the affection that that person has for her. So, when she lashes out at people who are not in the Sohma family, I think that she does it in attempt to preserve the love that she has for the members of the zodiac. She probably does not see her violent reactions as extreme, due to the pain and suffering that she had gone through as a child.

Yeah, I think so too. I also think that she wants to be loved; and the reason that she made Hatori erase Kana's memory was because she thinks that when they do get married, Hatori would be more focused on Kana than on her.

I guess she's acting a bit childish. She wants all the Zodiac members to love her because of the lack of love that she recieved from her mother, maybe?
