If you can call what I felt for you love
I loved you.
If you could call the way you used me affection
then you loved me too.

I wish that I could have changed those feelings
but was that possible?
I wanted you to love me as I loved you.
But you couldn't.

So today,
each broken promise is one thousand tears.
And I swim in an ocean of pain.
Forevermore,
You never said goodbye.

I think that what Miaka-chan is saying is that love ends too soon, because the feeling has diminished. I think that's what she means anyway. I could be completely wrong! lol!

Nope, Charlene you got it! The feeling is great when you have it in the moment, but like a roller coaster, it ends after a wild ride.
