I had a dream of this while i was on holidays and it was so bizarre i thought it could actually work - and it is! I haven't finished it yet.. i think it's going to take me a while to finish it but i'll get there. I hope you like it even though it's not finished yet!

Title: Not what you wanted

Setting: Before the events of both Chobits and Angel Sanctuary

Elda, a persocom, was given to Setsuna by his father in hopes that she could take his son's mind off his daughter. In order to pay off his debts for buying Elda from his friend, he had to take up another job and works day and night. Setsuna hardly sees him anymore but he doesn't mind. He knows that his father needs to pay of his debts, but what he doesn't know is that Elda wasn't given to him to look after, but to take his mind of his sister, Sara, whom he is in love with.

"Elda! I'm home!" Setsunna called out through the aged old house as he came through the front door.
"SE-TSU-NA!!!!" Elda cried in reply, storming out from the kitchen to greet her Setsuna.
Elda flung her arms in the air and wrapped them tightly around Setsunna's lean body. She looked up into his eyes and smiled. As for Setsunna's reply, well...
"You're -- choking -- me!" Setsunna managed to spit out.
"Oh! Sorry! I still haven't got used to my strength..." Elda apologized, untangling her arms and letting them freely drop by her side.
"It's okay Elda, you'll get used to it eventually. So what have you cooked up for dinner?" Setsunna asked as he bent down to remove his school shoes.
"Well I’m testing out this new recipe, burritos and a special sauce... it's not quite done yet so sit in the living room so I can make sure you do your homework this time!" Elda ordered.
"Elda, you know I’ll do it later!"
"Later? Do you mean before class?"
"Well...." Setsuna scratched his head in embarrassment.
"Come on, I won't serve you any lemon marange ice cream for desert if you don't get your work done!" Elda bribed.
Setsunna sighed and succumbed to Elda's bribe. She knew just how to trick him into doing things. It was coming to be a problem to Setsuna.
Elda returned to the kitchen and Setsunna dragged himself into the living room and chucked his school bag on the coffee table, then slumped down in the couch. He threw his head back so the back of his head rested on the top of the couch and he could stare up at the ceiling. Elda's cooking wafted through the cracks of the old house, slicing through the air and entering Setsuna's nose.. Elda's cooking was improving. At first she only knew the basics of living bur after living with Setsunna, she began to learn more things and grew attached to activities such as cooking and cleaning. Sometimes Setsunna think that Elda is like a housewife, cleaning, cooking, looking after the house for the husband that comes home after work, even if the husband isn't always there.
Apparently, Setsunna's father's friend found Elda in an alleyway, lying on the ground, looking like she was sleeping. He went up to her and asked if she was alright, but then he saw the pink and white ears on the side of her head that marked that of a persocom. He took her in and started her up, he even installed some software but his new girlfriend order him to part with the persocom because she though he would soon love Elda more than her. So he sold it to his good friend, who said he would put Elda to good use.
Setsunna thought at that moment, why would his father put Elda to good use, when he is always at work? How could he fulfill his promise to Elda when he is never around, and the one that steers her away from trouble is himself?
"I don't hear a pencil scribbling across paper!" Elda called loud enough for her voice to travel into the living room.
Setsuna didn't bother pointing out the fact that she couldn't possibly hear him writing from the far away, and concentrated on the fact that the girl is physic! She always catches him slacking off even when she isn't in the same room as him.
"Uh.. I'm just trying to find the stuff that's due tomorrow!" Setsunna replied, startled.
"Well do it all even if it isn't due tomorrow. I want to -- agh!!"
Setsunna leaped off the couch and screeched into the kitchen.
"What is it?!" He shouted.

:O oh la la! I like it! Mind you, I've never read Angel Sanctuary, but its good! Cant wait to see what she was yelling about!

cool! I have a long weekend, so I'll be looking it up!

Well, in America, we just celebrated Presidents day! And then my school got an extra day off so teachers could write reports!
HAPPY (NINE DAYS UNTIL) BIRTHDAY!

*panics* What happens next??????


I need to know!!!!

Next bit... lets just forget the human features that i've given a persocom. xD
“I burnt the soup!” Elda cried with embarrassment.
Setsuna sighed with relief but quickly concealed it with a cry of anger. “You bothered me because of this? Don’t do that! I’ve got a lot of homework to do!”
Elda turned to Setsuna and put her hands on her hips. “Do you now? Well you better go do it then! Go on, you told me you didn’t have much homework before, and now you do, so go do it.”
Setsuna glared at Elda. Somehow she managed to trick him into so many things that he’s lost track, and he still can’t believe that he still falls for it every time. He reluctantly swiveled around on the heel of his foot and clomped back to the living room.
Setsuna sat down at the table and picked up his pen. But instead of doing his work he turned over the paper and started to doodle little sketches.
“It’s good to hear that pen working!” Elda called out.

Elda! Elda! Calls a distant voice around Elda. All around her, darkness, a far off light standing out of the dark.
“Go away! Why won’t you leave me alone?!” Elda whispered angrily, covering her arms over her head.
Elda… Why do you stand by this selfish man’s side? Don’t you see he has eyes for his sister?
The far off light formed into a shape, a figure, the pure shadow of Setsuna, his angelic aura.
“I don’t care, it’s my duty to look after him!” Elda whispered, almost convincing herself.
But sister dear, you yearn to be loved by him yet you know it will never happen. So why stick around? You’ll just get hurt in the end.
The light silhouette formed the face of Setsuna, he smiled, not the gentle smile he always played but an evil mocking smile that the real Setsuna would never even dream of producing.
“But I … I love Setsuna. Even if he doesn’t love me back, I can work around that. I can still be there for him when his sister cannot. I can still do all the things Sara can do for him when she isn’t there.” Elda softly cried.
Well don’t say I warned you sister dearest, I can tell this will resolve in tragedy. I’ll be here with loving arms when you have no one to turn to, and I won’t even say, I told you so.
“I don’t care, I just want to be with Setsuna!”
Sweat mixed with tears soaked Elda’s face as she sat up in bed. She quickly thought it must have been a nightmare. The burning glare of that evil smile burnt into Elda’s mind, burrowed deep and embossed itself into her brain, scaring the tissue, leaving an imprint of the sly grin.
Elda shook herself and used the edge of her blanket to wipe the sweat and salt water off her face. She rolled the bedding back and quietly stepped out of bed, slipping her pink slippers on that were on the floor next to her bed.
She held onto the bed side table to keep balance, waking up so fast made her a little dizzy and she started to see fuzzy dots in her vision. She turned her head and looked at the photo framed on the bed side table.
It was on the day that Setsuna was teaching her about cameras, and she had taken one of Setsuna by accident. She’d captured Setsuna smiling off into the distance. Sometimes Elda would stare at the photo and wonder what he was thinking about. If he was thinking about his grades which he was failing at, but then he wouldn’t be smiling, or maybe it was the weather But Elda knew; Setsuna was thinking about his sister Sara, he was always thinking about her, staring off into the distance, zoning out of the world and into his memories. Elda wished that Setsuna was thinking about herself, forgetting the outside world, focusing on the memories of his time spent with her, the smiles they shared, and sometimes, she even imagined what it would be like if he loved her back.

LOL! Same thing happens to me all the time! I have a story to post as well! (But it isn't a fanfic... but I've an idea for one! It's a Fruits Basket fanfic!)

I hate homework.
My teachers give way too much, and expect us to do it all in like, 20 minutes!

Elda shuffled out of her room and into the hallway, hugging her body. It was early morning, blue shadows danced across the floorboards, the wind outside rustles through the leaves, creating an eerie atmosphere.
Elda opened the door to the bathroom and wet a clean washer. She wiped it across her face, soaking up the remaining moisture. She then left it hanging on the tap to dry and shuffled out of the bathroom and into the cold corridor.
Two doors down was Setsuna’s bedroom, it was a forbidden fortress to Elda, not that she couldn’t enter, it’s that she wouldn’t. She’d say that she was just respecting Setsuna’s privacy, but deep down, it was something else.
Shuffling silently down the hall, Elda made her way back to her room, slowing past Setsuna’s room in hope of even just a snore to smile at. Nothing. What would happen if she suddenly slipped and fell backwards? Would Setsuna snap out of his slumber instantaneously and come to Elda’s rescue? Or would he be too far in his deep sleep, dreaming about…
“Don’t think such things! You’ll only get upset.” Elda whispered to herself.
