eh, basically there would be a world which is ours, but somewhat futuristic.
Now, there is a technology where scientists have created artificial life, (somewhat like personcoms) who look and act just like people. To distinguish these robots (I'm not sure if they should be robots, but for the sake of time, lets call them robots.) from humans, the robots are stamped with a barcode. The barcode can appear anywhere on the body, so for some of the robots it is easier to pretend to be human. (The robots have the same emotions as people, and are essentially human, just without biological parents) Because of an extreme prejudice against robots by some people, the robots have to hide their identity. But, if a barcode is visible (like on a forehead) it is harder to pretend then a robot who has their barcode on their foot or something.

The story just follows a robot girl through her life as she tries to pretend to be human...

Wow that's pretty cool!
there seems to be a lot of anime either about warfare or a new species of humans/robots and or aliens like humans and other variations of that. but its all good!
wouldn't it be fun to be a director of an anime? if you were one, i'd definately go see your anime!!

Yeah unless it was relevant.. Like i was watching this show and the girl had her hair shaved off while she was sleeping so she had to wear a wig, and i swear, like 3 weeks after that happened, all her hair apparently grew back passed her shoulders! I mean, if she were wearing a wig, wouldnt she have thrown it off before swimming in the sea?!?! its very realistic wig if its wet to the roots!!! *squints*
